When talking about what tones of gold will work Sharona advises, "F+H Studios uses beautiful complimentary tones of 18K gold and 925 sterling silver, which mixes easily. Darker tones of gold such as 24K are more contrasting, however the key to this season's trend is to not over think it." 

Sharona's top tips for mixing metals;

- Don't overthink it, play with your look and layer your favourite pieces.

- This look does work best using plain metal pieces, or by keeping gemstones and colour details to a minimum.

- If you want to incorporate gemstones and colour into your mixed metal look, keep the colours tonal and matching.

- Rings are a fun way to start, mixing gold and silver rings is an easy way to wear this look.
